Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan model, actress and model who is primarily active with the Indian film industry. In 2006, her Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also won by her. Fernandez has Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial descent has spent a large portion of her childhood in Bahrain. The degree she earned is in mass communications from University of Sydney. She had a lengthy stint as a TV reporter in Sri Lanka before she entered the world of modelling. She became one of Sri Lanka's best models following her participation at Miss Universe 2006. In 2009, as part of her professional travels to India she was offered the part of Jasmine in Sujoy's film "Aladin" by SujoyGhosh'. Her first major role came in 2011 when she was selected to play the role of female lead Priya in 'Murder 2'. The film received commercial and critical hit leading to a thriving profession for Fernandez. Her roles have since included films like Housefull 2 and 3, 'Race 2', 'Definition of Fear' and "Judwaa 2". She has won multiple honors and has become a brand ambassador for several companies from around the world. An active participant in the community, she supports several charitable organizations and a number of causes.
