Angela Sun

Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, CA on 19 October 1979. She is a American sportscaster journalist documentary filmmaker and television host. Her degree is in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun had outstanding surfing skills. After participating in a handful of pro-am surfer competitions, she was endorsed by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and various other major companies. It was the recognition she gained from her participation in these events which led Sun to the realm of entertainment. In the following years, she was an investigative filmmaker and journalist as also a sportscaster. Sun is a former anchor that has been on various news networks. Sun was a Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. She has also been host of American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley in the year 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute from the year 2014 until 2015. Sun is the only Asian American to appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of films and has received recognition and praise for her acting talent. Sun has appeared in movies like Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun's feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a documentary about the effects of the plastic waste on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
