Anita Saarkessian

Anita Sarkeesian was born in Canada and raised in the United States. She's worked as a media critic since 1995. She created Feminist Frequency, a site which features video and posts discussing the depictions of females in pop culture. Anita Sarkeesian was a Canadian as well as an American feminist media critic. Feminist Frequency is a non-for profit website that focuses on female representations in popular stories of culture - was created and is directed by Sarkeesian.
