Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be to be one of the top athletes. In the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and was also the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman, when she was six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles won a gold in the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of gymnastics in the year the year 2011. Two years after that Biles was the king of the field. Biles's consistent, exuberant personality and the level of difficulty during her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercises -- helped to set her apart.
